$10K Reward Offered In Fatal Elizabeth Barbershop Shooting

A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to arrest and indictment of an Elizabeth shooting that left one person dead, authorities said.

Tyshun Kearney, 30, was shot outside of a barbershop at the corner of Jackson Avenue and Bond Street just before 7 p.m. Wednesday, the Union County Prosecutor's Office said.

Tyshun Kearney, 30, a city resident, was shot outside of a barbershop at the corner of Jackson Avenue and Bond Street just before 7 p.m. Wednesday, the Union County Prosecutor's Office said.

Kearney was taken with multiple gunshot wounds to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, authorities said.

The incident is under investigation by the Homicide Task Force, Elizabeth Police Department, Union County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit, and Union County Police Department Ballistics Unit.
